Default New WS6

Alright. Picked up a 2002 Trans Am WS6 as a starter. Getting with IPS next week to get some specifics on what was done by the previous owner. One of the things on the top of my list was low miles and preferrably a stick. This 2002 has 23,000 miles and yes, is a 6 speed. Here are a few pics.

Things are going slow, but I did get in the calipers and rotors for the brake upgrade. Here's a pic with the card in there for size perspective. These things are HUGE. 14" rotors and 6 piston calipers.

Ya, I'll get it down in the rear a bit. Just want to get the new rims/tires on it to see where it needs to be before I do anything. Still need to get the adapters for the calipers, brake lines, and the spacers for the front, then I'll start saving for the rims/tires.

Sure do. Hopefully we can get a chance to get everyone together soon and we can get a group pic of all these f-bodys.

BTW, the car has a Thunder Racing split pattern cam, AFR heads, LS6 intake, Kooks longtubes, 100 shot, and a Moser 12 bolt with 4.30s and 33 spline axles. IPS just dyno'd it at 400rwhp, 497 rwhp on juice.

should have PMed me about the brakes, my cost is for front and rear calipers and rotors is like $1600.

for some reason 400rw doesn't sound right for that set-up. my vette makes that with a smaller cam and not near as good of heads (Katech torqer cam, livernois stage 2 heads) and that was also on IPS's dyno.

Ya, its tuned a little on the conservative side NA, to account for the spray when I use it. Just being a little on the safe side until I decide if I want to keep the spray or not. Could have taken it further to the edge and gotten about 20 more hp NA, I was told by Brandon at IPS.

I actually got the front calipers/rotors/ceramic pads for under $800 shipped.
